01Test panel
What we test for, and how.
The methods below are the ones reported on our Certificates of Analysis, and each certificate lists the results for its own batch.
| No. | Test | Method | What it reports |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Purity | HPLC | Reverse-phase HPLC separates the target peptide from related substances and reports purity as a percentage of total peak area. |
| 02 | Identity | LC-MS | Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry confirms the molecular mass of the compound matches its expected structure. |
| 03 | Impurity Profile | HPLC | The largest single impurity and the total of all impurity peaks are reported for the batch. |
| 04 | Net Peptide Content | Quantitation | The amount of peptide in the vial is measured against the labeled strength. |
| 05 | Water Content | Karl Fischer | Residual moisture in the lyophilized powder is measured. |
| 06 | Counter-ion (TFA) | Ion analysis | Residual trifluoroacetate from synthesis is quantified. |
| 07 | Retention Time | HPLC | The retention time is checked against the reference for the compound. |
| 08 | Endotoxin | LAL | Bacterial endotoxin levels are screened. |
| 09 | Heavy Metals | ICP-MS | Heavy-metal content is screened against the specification. |
